OK, nobody has actually asked this question but we wanted to say it anyway.
The aim of Ken TestMan is to provide a simple and effective test management tool that is affordable. We want to help raise the profile of testing within project teams, so in the commercial editions you are not charged more for adding more users.
We want more people to be involved and take an interest in testing, charging per user seems counter-productive to this.
With Ken TestMan you get a web based tool that helps you do your job better. It doesn't do everything, but what it does do is useful and usable.
There are 3 editions of Ken TestMan for 3 different types of customer and therefore 3 different prices.
The license is per instance, not per user. You can find out more, including the user limits for the different editions here.
The Free and Standard Editions support the MS JET engine database only.
The Professional Edition supports both the MS JET and MS SQL database systems up to MS SQL Server 2005.
For medium to large teams looking for the benefits of an enterprise level database.
The Professional Edition builds on the Standard Edition and has some usability and functional improvements.
These improvements over time, will migrate to the Standard Edition as new features are implemented in the Professional Edition.
Simply let us know and we'll send you a pro-forma invoice with all the details you need to make payment. Once payment has been made we will send you a username, password and accesskey.
The username and password will enable you to access the online support site where you can download the code. You will need the accesskey when configuring Ken TestMan on your server.
You can then continue to use the support site to report any problems or download the latest versions of the application.
